The Kalgoorlie based team work with both children and adults predominately with NDIS participants. The team covers the entire Goldfields region including Esperance. We offer home based or school based sessions and we also have a clinic space in Kalgoorlie.
Sheridyn Graham
Sheridyn graduated from Curtin University after completing her Masters of Occupational Therapy in June 2019.
Sheridyn began working within the paediatrics community disability sector, before transitioning into the hospital setting where she worked closely with the inpatient and outpatient teams. Sheridyn is experience in neurological conditions, orthopaedics, disability, cognitive impairment amongst many more and has an extensive knowledge with equipment provision and home assessment.
She currently works clinically with clients of all ages predominately in the NDIS space in the Goldfield’s region. She is passionate about delivering a high-quality Occupational Therapy service to the Goldfields region and ensuring clients are receiving the best possible support no matter their location. She is a strong advocate for those living rurally to return or continue engaging in activities they love and is passionate about enabling this through her services.
Micaela van Tonder
Micaela is occupational therapist who graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2019. Micaela moved to the Goldfields in 2023.
Micaela has experience in disability supporting individuals to achieve their goals. Micaela enjoys working across the life span but has a strong interest in paediatrics. Micaela enjoys working holistically with her clients and their support system. Micaela has experience working with clients with challenging behaviours. Micaela is trained in sensory support, emotional regulation and play therapy.
Kiara Isard
Kiara graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 2017 and has worked in the public sector at Albany Health Campus and Kalgoorlie Health campus across acute adult general medicine and surgery, hand and upper limb therapy, burns, equipment prescription and home assessments.
She has a special interest in the complexity of therapeutic treatment of complex hand injuries including conservative therapy and post operative management, and complex home modifications that enables individuals to re-engage with important activities or allows an individual to develop the skills and find new meaning.
Kiara has recently started clinical work in the NDIS space and is devoted to providing a service to clients in the Goldfields region.
Jayne Cruttenden
Jayne established Beyond Function Occupational Therapy Services being established in 2018 whilst living in Kalgoorlie. Jayne continues to work clinically in the medico legal field and also in the Goldfields region, predominately servicing NDIS clients. Jayne is the clinical lead and director for the Kalgoorlie based team. Jayne is committed to Beyond Function providing experienced, respectful and quality services to our clients.
