Jayne Cruttenden
Jayne is a the founder of Beyond Function Occupational Therapy Services and graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy from Curtin University in 2003.
Jayne began her career working across a variety of acute clinical caseloads including orthopaedics, neurosciences, general medicine and complex discharge planning as well as inpatient and community rehabilitation. Jayne also worked in private practice as case manager and occupational therapist for clients with catastrophic injury for a number of years, gaining extensive experience with medico legal report writing and coordination of care and services for clients with complex needs.
In 2015 Jayne commenced work as a self-employed occupational therapist with Beyond Function Occupational Therapy Services being established in 2018. Jayne continued to work in the medico legal field whilst establishing a busy clinical practice in the Goldfields region, predominately servicing National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients. Jayne now manages a team of 8 occupational therapy consultants as well as maintaining a busy clinical caseload across Perth and the Goldfields regions. Jayne is committed to Beyond Function providing experienced, respectful and quality services to our clients.
Emma Willoughby
Emma graduated from The University of Wales in 2003 and has worked as an Occupational Therapist for more than 18 years.
Emma has worked with a diverse range of clients in her career. She is experienced working in aged care with expertise in orthopaedics, falls prevention and dementia or cognitive impairment. Emma also has expertise with lower limb amputees and with neurological conditions, specifically back pain management and prevention and other pain conditions. Emma has extensive experience with equipment provision and home assessment.
Emma is experienced in medico legal assessment and report writing. She works clinically with adult clients in the aged care and NDIS space in the Perth, Wheatbelt and Goldfields region.
Narelle Barr
Narelle graduated from Curtin University in 2003, and has worked as an Occupational Therapist for more than 17 years.
Narelle has worked in the community disability sector with both children and adults, and has worked in hospitals in Perth and New Zealand, working across the areas of acute medicine, emergency care, physical health, disability, neurosciences, home visiting and hand and upper limb therapy. She also has specialist experience working in the private sector in the field of hand and upper limb therapy, treating patients of all ages with acute and chronic upper limb injuries and needs.
Narelle works in the NDIS field providing services for upper limb amputees or clients with congenital limb differences, including prosthetics users. Narelle is also experienced in medico legal assessment with a special interest in upper limb and orthopaedic injury. Narelle is passionate about delivering high quality Occupational Therapy services tailored to the individual’s needs, to help clients achieve their goals, and in delivering services with a holistic and respectful approach.
